Ted Zee is a documentary, storytelling, and portrait photographer based in Seattle, Washington. Since his early days cataloging street scenes and social activism, his work has reflected on the ever-changing demographics and landscape of the Pacific Northwest. Ted’s projects often focus on the coping mechanisms and support systems of individuals and families in vulnerable communities, told through authentic images and profiles.

His work includes contributions to Huffpost, The Stranger, Seattle Weekly, City Arts, Seattle Magazine, and Seattle's Child.

Ted is a recipient of a 2022 4Culture Art Projects Grant for his long-term photo essay, Juliet and Jude.
